Questions
Which TVs are supported?
Samsung TVs running Tizen (roughly 2016 and newer), LG TVs running webOS, Roku players and Roku TVs, Android TV / Google TV devices (including Sony, TCL, Philips and Hisense models that run Google TV), Amazon Fire TV (after you enable ADB debugging - the app walks you through it), and Vizio SmartCast TVs. Support varies slightly by model year and firmware.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. The app talks directly to your TV on your own Wi-Fi.
Is it really free?
Yes - one TV with every feature is free forever. Pro ($6.99, one time) only adds saving multiple TVs and customizing the shortcut row.
The scan doesn't find my TV.
Make sure the TV is on and on the same Wi-Fi (guest and some mesh networks isolate devices). You can also add a TV by its IP address. More in Support.
